Distribution : Southern Namibia, Nothern RSA (Northern Cape).

Differs from var. marianiae :

Small and compact plants with thick stems.

Roots tuberous.

Leaves broadly obovate to orbicular, 1.5 - 2.5 cm, grey to reddish green, occasionally spotted, lamina smooth, dorsiventrally flattened to globose, with raised horny margin in the upper ½.

Distribution : Namibie du sud, nord de l'Afrique du Sud (Cap-Nord).

Différences par rapport à la var. marianiae :

Petite plante compacte avec tiges épaisses.

Racines tubéreuses.

Feuilles largement obovales à orbiculaires, 1,5 - 2,5 cm, grises à vert rougeâtre, occasionnellement tachetées, limbe lisse, de section aplatie ou arrondie, avec marge cornée saillante dans la moitié supérieure.
