Distribution:

China (Northwestern Yunnan, western Sichuan); rock crevices or rocks in forests, 3000 - 4000 m.

 

 

Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :

 

Perennial densely tufted herbs with numerous ascending stems, 1 - 7 cm tall.

 

Leaves altemate, densely imbricate, linear or broadly triangular, acuminate, with a broad 3- or 4-lobed spur, mamillate towards the tip, 4 - 7 mm.

 

Flowering branches erect, branched, 4 - 8 cm.

 

Inflorescences small dense corymbs.

 

FLowers 5-merous, sepals broadly sessile, basaIly slightly connate, triangular or lanceolate, acuminate, 4 - 6 mm, petals basally slightly connate, broadly lanceolate, acute, submucronate, yellowish, 5.5 - 8 mm.
