Description (according to 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP, 2003) :

 

Small tufted perennial herbs with suberect stems ± 10 cm tall with small sterile branches.

 

Leaves alternate, ovate to suborbicular, subobtuse, shortly spurred, 5 - 6.5 mm, flowering branches erect.

 

Inflorescences few-flowered corymbs.

 

Flowers subsessile, 5-merous, sepals shortly spurred, unequal, subovate, obtuse, 4.5 - 5 x ± 2.5 mm, the fifth sepal oblong, subobtuse, ± 4 x 2 mm, petals basally connate up to 1.5mm, broadly subovate, subobtuse, colour not described, mucronate, ± 6 mm.
