Distribution : China (W Sichuan); rocks in valleys, trailsides, 2600 - 3000 m.

 

Description (by 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP, 2003) :

Perennnial herbs with short sterile stems to 2 cm.

Leaves alternate, oblong, obtuse, pubescent, 5 - 7.5 mm.

Flowering branches erect, pubescent, 5 - 10 cm.

Flowers 5-merous, sepals broadly sessile, triangular to semi-ovate, obtuse, pubescent, 2.5 - 3 mm, petals broadly oblong, shortly mucronate, yellowish, ca 5 mm.
