Distribution : West Turkey; damp mossy places on mountains.

 

 

Description (according to 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP, 2003) :

 

Perennial herbs, glabrous, ascending, 5 - 10 cm tall, with ccreeping and rooting branches and perennating sterile rosettes.

 

Leaves alternate, imbricate, linear, terete, ± 6 mm, obtuse, sessile, green red-tipped.

 

Inflorescences dense corymbs 1 - 2 cm in diameter with (7-) 10 - 20 flowers.

 

Flowers 5-merous, pedicellate, sepals ± 2 mm, acute, petals ± 3 mm, white with red mid-vein.
