Distribution : Mexico.

Description (according to H. 't Hart & B. Bleij in IHSP, 2003) :

Perennial herbs with short rootstock and repent finely papillose stems.

Leaves alternate, elliptic, oblanceolate or obovate, rounded, narrowly spurred, papillose especially marginally, subterete, 4.5 - 15.4 x 1.5 – 7 mm, often recurved.

Flowering branches erect.

Inflorescences lax cymes, pedicels 5 - 24 mm.

FIowers 5-merous, sepals basally free, broadly spurred, unequal, lanceolate, elliptic-oblong, ovate-elliptic or elliptic, acute, papillose at the tips, pale green, 3.1 - 5.5 x 1.2 - 2.1 mm, suberect, petals basally free, lanceolate, ovate or elliptic-oblong, spreading, acute to mucronate, pale green to purplish, ± 5 mm.
