SPATHULIFOLIUM ssp. PURDYI   (Jepson) Clausen, 1975

Synonym : Sedum purdyi  Jepson (1936)

 

Distribution : Western USA (Oregon, northern California: northern Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mts.); 390 - 1080 m.

 

 

Differs from ssp. spathulifolium:

Primary rosette 2.5 - 3.7 cm in diameter, 2 - 4 offsets per rosette, stems of offsets 1.2 - 1.6mm in diameter (more slender than in ssp. yosemitense) and 1.6 - 4.6 cm long.

Leaves 1.4 - 2.1 mm thick, closely compacted, green.

FIowers 12 - 16 mm in diameter.
