Ray Stephenson (Sedum, Cultivated Stonecrops, 1994, p 264) :

Sedum wrightii ssp. densiflorum is greener than the type species, and, as the name suggests, more floriferous. Leaves of the inflorescences are almost terete, and inflorescences are twice the length of those of the type species - reaching 20 cm (8 in) before collapsing under their own weight. Sepals of this subspecies are narrow, and carpels are pink along a ventral groove.
