Distribution : N-C Turkey (N Anatolia); rocky limestone slopes, 1800 - 2100 m, very local.

Section Sempervivum

 

Description (according to 't Hart, Bleij & Zonneveld in IHSP, 2003) :

Rosettes 4 - 6 cm in diameter, stolons short.

Leaves oblong-spatulate, spreading, green, with deep brown, acuminate recurved tips, ± 30 x 10 mm, ± 3 mm thick.

Flowers 13- to 15-merous, ± 2.5 cm in diameter, sepals ovate-lanceolate, acute, ± 10 x 2 mm, petals greenish-yellow, filaments violet.

Allied to S. brevipilum.
