Oddity  (engl./ fr.)

Said to be a mutation of S. x comollii (tectorum x wulfenii).

The name S. x comollii is controversial, it designates more or less pinkish forms of S. tectorum growing on the Italian mountainsides of the Alps. The problem is that no S. wulfenii plants can be found there ! But that does not affect the validity of the name.

Sometimes S. 'Oddity' is also considered a mutation of S. x albidum (synonym of S. tectorum).

S. 'Oddity' is a shy flowerer.

Le nom S. x comollii est discutable, il désigne des formes plus ou moins rosées de S. tectorum poussant sur les flancs montagneux des Alpes italiennes ; le problème est qu'aucune plante de S. wulfenii ne s'y trouve. Ceci n'affectant en rien la validité du nom.

S. 'Oddity' est aussi parfois considéré comme une mutation de S. x albidum (synonyme de S. tectorum).

S. 'Oddity' fleurit difficilement.
