Origin : Bulgaria ("In saxosis (calcareis ?) ad Lovec")

Description :

Rosette leaves obovate, glabrous, margins shortly ciliate, 13 - 15 mm wide.

Cauline leaves oblong acuminate, puberulent, 2.5 x 1 cm, margins with long cilia.

Inflorescence 30 cm tall with 5 - 8 branches, each 6 - 10 cm long.

Flowers 1 cm long and wide, first yellowish, later purplish.

 

According to Praeger possibly a hybrid of S. marmoreum x S. ruthenicum.
