Etym: Named for Esperanza Beltrán Tejera, Professor of Botany, Universidad de La Laguna.

Short description :

Intermediate between the parents.

Stem much branched, rugose.

Rosettes numerous, almost flat, 12 -15 cm across

Leaves obovate-subspatulate, acuminate, 7 - 9 x 2.5. - 3.3 cm, slightly glandular-pubescent, margins reddish, with some hyaline cilia mixed with pubescence.

Inflorescence 35 x 18 cm, peduncle glandular hairy.

Flowers 8-9-merous, yellowh green to almost white, calyx glandular pubescent, petals densly pubescent at margins and outside

Flowering time : March - April.

Distribution : La Gomera (El Bailodero), 950 m.
