Etym: Named for Wolfredo Wildpret de la Torre, Professor of Botany, Universidad de La Laguna.

Description :

Intermediate between the parents.

Rosettes 15 - 17 cm across, rather flat and densely pubescent.

Stem and branches fairly thick, 2.5 - 4.5 cm.

Leaves 7 - 10 x 4.5 - 5.5 cm, obovate, attenuate at base, slightly apiculate and pubescent, margins often reddish, with curved thick cilia mixed with scarce pubescence. Old leaves persistent as in A. arboreum var. holochrysum.

Flowers yellow.

Distribution : Canary Islands : La Palma, El Hierro.
