Distribution : Western Himalaya (India, Nepal).

Description (according to H. Ohba in IHSP, 2003) :

Dioecious, to 25 cm taIl.

Flowering stems ± 5 mm in diameter, glabrous.

Leaves narrowly elliptic to angular-oblanceolate, 2 - 4 x 0.8 - 1.5 cm, glabrous, tip acute, margin remotely crenulate.

FIowers (female) 5-merous, calyx 5 - 6 mm, tube 1.5 - 2 mm, sepals subulate, 3.8 - 4 mm, petals narrowly oblong to linear, 4 – 5 mm, white.

This species is similar to R. litwinowii but differs by the larger leaves and indistinct styles.
