Distribution: Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Socotra; grassland, heath

or forest, seasonally moist but exposed sites, 1500 - 4100 m.

 

 

Differs from ssp. schimperi : Lycopodium-like herbs (rarely erect).

 

Leaves thick-textured, obtuse, base not spurred, hydathodes large and conspicuous.

Distribution : Ethiopie, Soudan, Ouganda, Tanzanie, Kenya, Socotra ; prairies, landes ou forêts, dans des endroits humides mais exposés, 1500 - 4100 m.

 

 

Différences par rapport à la ssp. schimperi : plantes rappelant les lycopodiacées (rarement érigée).

 

Feuilles de texture épaisse, obtuses, base sans éperon, larges hydathodes bien visibles.
