Springtime

Parentage : C. perfoliata var. minor x ? C. rupestris 

Introduced by Hans Britsch in Vista before 1980. 

Leaves with ciliate margins and a few scattered papillae. 

Very similar to C. 'Bride's Bouquet', in fact when grown under identical conditions the two hybrids are indistinguishable.

Note :

Unfortunately, in Gordon Rowley's book the photo published for C. 'Bride's Bouquet' is the same as for C. 'Springtime' !
