Distribution : Iran, central Afghanistan (Ghorat), calcareous rocks and stony places, ± 2725 m.

Description (according to H. 't Hart & V. V. Byalt in IHSP, 2003) :

Rhizome thick and long, ending in 2 to many non-tuberous roots, 2 - 4 mm diameter.

Inflorescences corymbose-cymose, flowering branches 2 to many, to 15 cm, pedicels 1 - 3 mm.

Flowers 6-merous, sepals triangular, acute, 3 - 4 mm, corolla 10 - 12 mm, campanulate, somewhat ventricose, petals 5 - 6 mm, fruit erect.

Flowering time : May to July.
