Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :
Rosette plants; stems erect or often falling, short, to 10 cm.
Rosettes dense, 3 – 4 cm in diameter.
Leaves spatulate, linear, acute, 2 – 4 cm, pale and somewhat glaucous-pruinose.
Inflorescences few-flowered thyrses, pedicels 4 – 8 mm.
Flowers 5-merous, sepals erect, almost or completely free, linear, acute, 2 – 3 mm, somewhat glaucous, petals 8 – 10 mm, yellowish to cream-coloured, tube 2 – 3 mm, lobes acute, 6 – 7 mm, somewhat red-spotted or –banded.
