Distribution : China (Hubei, Sichuan).

 

 

Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :

 

Rootstock stout.

 

Flowering stems erect, 10 – 30 cm, glabrous.

 

Leaves alternate, sessile, broadly ovate to orbicular, 4 - 10 x 4 - 10 cm, tip acute, margin entire, glabrous.

 

Inflorescences terminal and axillary, paniculate, lax, 8 - 15 x 4 - 8 cm, pedicels 10 - 15 mm, glabrous, bracts lanceolate to narrowly elliptic-ovate, 10 - 14 x 4 - 6 mm.

 

Flowers : Sepals lanceolate, 1.2 - 2 mm, petals oblong-ovate, white, 4.3 - 5.7 mm, acuminate, stamens 3 - 5 mm.
