Distribution : Western Ethiopia; montane forest margins, sometimes at rather wet sites, 2400 - 3000 m.
Plants shortly glandular-pubescent throughout, usually densely so.
The fleshy leaves are used in baking local bread and in the preparation of a dressing for sores.
