Parentage unknown. This hybrid was produced by Lynch in Camridge around 1928.
Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :
Shrublets; stems pilose becoming glabrous.
Leaves petiolate, thick, sparsely pubescent, later glabrous, petiole 1.5 - 2.5 cm, lamina broadly ovate, tip rounded, base cuneate, margins crenate, to 10 x 8 cm.
Inflorescence corymbose, to 4 cm long, pedicels ± 5 mm, pilose.
FIowers sparsely pilose, calyx 3 mm, sepals ovate,rounded-apiculate, corolla tube inflated, yellow-greenish , ± 8 mm long, petals broadly ovate, apiculate, ± 4 mm, stamens inserted near the throat of the corolla tube, included.
