Distribution : Mexico (Coahuila, Nuevo León), 1200 – 2100 m.

Description (according to Urs Eggli in IHSP, 2003) :

Plants 5 – 20 cm tall.

Leaves rhombic-ovate to –obovate or –lanceolate, low-rounded at the very tip, 2 – 4 x 2 cm, grey-green blotched with purplish-red.

Inflorescences cymes with few cincinni of 8 – 15 flowers.

Flowers : Sepals rounded at tips, corolla yellow, outside with red lines.

Cytology : n = 32, 33

Feuilles losangées-ovales à obovales ou lancéolées, légèrement arrondies à la pointe, 2 – 4 x 2 cm, gris-vert avec taches rouge-pourpre.

Inflorescence cyme avec peu de cincinni munis de 8 – 15 fleurs.

Fleurs : Sépales arrondis à la pointe, corolle jaune, extérieur avec lignes rouges.

Cytologie : n = 32, 33
