Distribution : Greece (Aegean Region: Kiklades).

 

 

Description (according to 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP 2003) :

 

Very much like ssp. eriocarpum

 

Leaves light green.

 

Inflorescences with 3 - 7 branches.

 

Petals usually broadly ovate-elliptic, white or pink, anthers bright red.

 

Cytology: 2n = 20
