Distribution : Eastern Turkey (Van), open végétation, 1900 - 2200 m, known only from the type collection.

 

 

Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :

 

Annual herbs, stems simple or sparingly branched, erect, 12 - 15 cm, glabrous, without sterile branches.

 

Leaves alternate, oblong-linear, 4,5 - 10 x 0,8 -1,2 mm, semiterete, fleshy.

 

Inflorescences corymbose, 13- to 20- flowered.

 

FIowers 5-merous, pedicellate, sepals united for 1/3 - 1/2 of their length, free lobes broadly triangular, 1,8 - 2 x 1,5 - 2 mm, obtuse to somewhat acute, petals narrowly triangular, ± 4 x 1,8 - 2 mm, white with faint pink midvein, acute, longer than the sepals lobes.
