Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :
Dwarf sparingly branched scandent succulents to 20 cm in diameter from a ± globose tuberous base to 2.5 cm in diameter with grey-brown flaking bark.
Branches slender, to 18 cm x 2.5 mm in diameter, grey, ribbed from the decurrent phyllopodia, often thickened partly and then rooting, phyllopodia 1 -2 mm long, truncate, often recurved.
Leaves variable, spreading to recurved, often crowded at branch tips, 1.5 – 4 x 0.4 – 3.2 cm, glandular-hairy, flat, narrowly to broadly oblanceolate, ovate or elliptic, base cuneate, apex obtuse to acute.
Inflorescences flat-topped spreading to ascending thyrses to 4 cm tall with 1 – 2 monochasia, each bearing 1 – 3 erect flowers, pedicels 1 cm.
Flowers : Corolla tubular, 10 – 12 x 4 mm, expanding slightly towards throat, yellow to brownish and covered with short gland-tipped hairs, petals spreading, becoming recurved.

Description (selon IHSP, 2003) :
Plante succulente modérément ramifiée, ascendante, jusqu'à 20 cm de diamètre à partir d'une base tubéreuse ± globulaire, atteignant 2,5 cm de diamètre, avec écorce gris-marron s'exfoliant.
Branches minces, jusqu'à 18 cm x 2,5 mm de diamètre, gris, nervurées à partir des phyllopodia décurrents, souvent partiellement épaissies puis produisant des racines, phyllopodia longs de 1 - 2 mm, tronqués, souvent recourbés.
Feuilles variables, s'écartant de la tige ou recourbées, souvent regroupées en bout de branche, 1,5 – 4 x 0,4 – 3,2 cm, avec poils glandulifères, plates, étroitement à largement oblancéolées, ovales ou elliptiques, base cunée, apex obtus à aigu.
Inflorescence : Thyrse à tête plate, écarté à dressé, jusqu'à 4 cm de haut, avec 1 – 2 monochasia, chacun portant 1 – 3 fleurs dressées, pédicelles 1 cm.
Fleurs : Corolle tubulaire, 10 – 12 x 4 mm, s'étendant légèrement vers la gorge, jaune à marron et couverte de courts poils glandulifères, petals s'écartant, devenant recourbés.
