Description (according to U. Eggli in IHSP, 2003) :
Caudex absent; roots filiform, branches to 1.5 cm, ± thickened, with greyish-silvery smooth bark, branching and forming loose mats.
Rosette open, semiglobular, 1 - 1.5 cm in diameter, offsets stalked.
Leaves oblong-spatulate, fleshy, to 18 mm, dark green, rarely pruinose, ± flushed purplish, margin entire or serrulate, apex rounded or obscurely pointed.
Inflorescences lax thyrses, lateral, drooping in bud, glabrous or upper ½ glandular-hairy, pedicels 2 - 10 mm, elongating after anthesis.
FIowers 5-merous, 5 - 6 mm, glabrous or glandular-hairy on the outer parts, tubular-campanulate, erect, petals united for 1/3, pale pink, yellowish-pink or rarely dirty white, venation often pinkish-red.
