Distribution : Japan; on rocks or epiphytic on tree trunks.

 

 

Description (by H.Ohba in IHSP, 2003) :

 

Flowering stems ascending, 20 - 50 cm.

 

Leaves opposite, petiolate, ovate, 3 - 6 (-10) x 1.5 - 4 cm, tip round to obtuse, base cuneate, petiole 1 - 2 cm.

 

Inflorescences corymb-like, globose.

 

Flowers : Sepals triangular, ± 1.5mm, petals pale yellowish-green, elliptic to oblanceolate, ± 4.5 mm, stamens nearly as long as the petals, anthers pale reddish-brown.

 

Flowering time : September to October
