Distribution : Greece (endemic to Crete) ; limestone.

 

 

Description (according to 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP 2003) :

 

Sparsely glandular-pubescent.

 

Leaves spatulate or broadly elliptic, subacute, semiterete or almost flat, ± 10 mm, pale grey-green, glaucous

 

FIowers subsessile to distinctly pedicellate, petals narrowly lanceolate, white or rarely pinkish, anthers bright red or rarely yellow.

 

Cytology : 2n = 20
