Distribution : NW China, Taiwan; montane regions, shady grevelly or rocky places, 400 - 3400 m.

 

 

Description (by 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP, 2003) :

 

Annual or biennial glandular-pubescent herbs with branched somewhat frutescent stems, 10 - 15 cm.

 

Leaves alternate, obovate-rhomboid, acute, widely cuneate at the base, petiolate (petioles to 6 mm), 7 - 15 x 5 - 10 mm.

 

Inflorescences lax few-flowered cymes, pedicels 5 - 10 mm.

 

Flowers 5-merous, sepals broadly sessile, lanceolate to oblong, 1 - 2 mm, petals lanceolate-oblong, yellow or pale yellow, 3 - 5 mm, styles short, nectar scales broadly spatulate to widely cuneate, fruits erect or subdivergent, seeds ovoid, brown, costate.
