Blue Mist  (engl./ fr.)

In Rhodora 80, 1978 as well as in Haseltonia, 1995, Charles Uhl mentions a hybrid with the parentage

Sedum craigii  (U1206) x Echeveria cf. affinis (U1097A),i.e. a xSedeveria.

xSedeveria 'Blue Mist' is considered to be the hybrid of Sedum craigii and Echeveria affinis.

E. affinis and E. cf. affinis are not the same plant ! However it is unknown whether the respective hybrids would look distinctly different. In any case there is no certainty at all that the plant currently called xSedeveria 'Blue Mist' originated with Uhl.

'Blue Mist' has been considered to be a xPachyveria, however the flowers are in no way reminiscent of Pachyphytum. Instead they are strongly resembling those of Sedum craigii. The hybrid is slightly fertile.

紫麗殿在過去普遍被誤認為 xPachyveria (厚葉草屬 x 擬石蓮花屬跨數交種) 或是 Pachyphytum，然而經過多次花(序)比對與親緣的對照，其應被歸類於 xSedeveria (景天屬 x 擬石蓮花屬)。目前較常流通的學名： Pachyphytum 'Shireiden' 與 xPachyveria 'Hummel's Purple'皆為誤用，此交種之正確園藝名為 'Blue Mist'，是育種者Charles Uhl的作品。

E. affinis et E. cf. affinis cependant ne sont pas la même plant ! Il est inconnu si les hybrides respectifs soient nettement distincts. En tout cas il n'est pas du tout certain si la plante à présent nommée xSedeveria 'Blue Mist' soit identique avec l'hybride créé par Uhl.

'Blue Mist' a été considéré comme x Pachyveria, mais en fait les fleurs ne montrent aucun trait de Pachyphytum. Cepandant elles sont très ressemblantes à celles de Sedum craigii. L'hybride est légèrement fertile.
