China (Anhui), known from the type locality only.

 

 

Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :

 

Glabrous annual herbs with simple or little-branched stems 8 - 15 cm tall.

 

Leaves opposite or almost whorled at the base and alternate near the top, narrowly obovate to narrowly lanceolate, long acuminate, bluntly spurred, 5 - 6,5 x ± 1 mm.

 

Inflorescences moderately elongate, with lax pleiochasial few-flowered cymes, bracts narrowly lanceolate, pedicels 3 - 4 mm.

 

FIowers 5-merous, sepals basally free, shortly spurred, broadly linear, 1 - 2 x ± 0,5 mm, petals lanceolate, shortly mucronate, slightly recurved at the tip, colour unknown, 3 - 3,5 x ± 1 mm.

 

Treated as synonym of S. lineare by Fu & Ohba (2001: 250).
