Distribution : South-eastern China (Anhui); lowlands.

 

 

Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :

 

Biennial herbs 10 - 35 cm tall, stems erect, glabrous.

 

Leaves alternate, basal leaves elliptic-spatulate, < 10 mm, upper leaves linear-spatulate to linear-oblanceolate, 15 - 30 x 3 - 6 mm, obtuse, basally spurred, axils with several bulbils.

 

Inflorescences terminal cymes with 3 primary branches, bracts leaf-like.

 

FIowers almost sessile, 5-merous, sepals green, unequal, spatulate-oblanceolate, 1 - 5 mm, petals narrowly lanceolate, ± 5 x 1 mm, yellow, acute.

 

Doubtfully distinct from S. bulbiferum.
