Distribution : China (W Sichuan); rocks, 4400 – 4600 m.

 

 

Description (by 't Hart & Bleij in IHSP, 2003) :

 

Tiny annual herbs to 1 cm tall, strongly branched from the base, branches divaricate.

 

Leaves ovate or suborbicular, obtuse, 1 – 1.5 mm.

 

Inflorescences small, few-flowered, bracts 2 per flower, subopposite, lanceolate, apiculate, 1.5 – 2 mm, pedicels short.

 

Flowers 5-merous, with 5 stamens, sepals subovate, subacute, 1.5 – 2 mm, petals oblong, mucronate, broad at the base, yellowish, ± 2 mm, nectar scales linear, very slightly emarginate, styles long, fruit subdivergent, few-seeded, seeds lanceolate, probably reticulate.
