Distribution : Greece, Turkey, Aegean Islands.

 

 

Description (by C.C. Walker in IHSP 2003) :

 

Basal leaves orbicular, cordate or subpeltate, 2 – 5 cm in diameter, margin sinuate or entire.

 

Inflorescence simple or branched erect racemes to 35 cm, pedicels 1 - 2 mm.

 

Flowers erect or spreading, corolla yellow, tubular, 4 – 6 mm long, petals to 2x as long as the tube.

 

Closely allied to U. chloranthus, but with less distinctly peltate leaves.
