Distribution : S Namibia, SA (Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State).

Description (according to E. van Jaarsveld in IHSP, 2003) :

Procumbent branched perennials.

Branches to 8 cm, rooting at the nodes, main root to 2 mm in diameter but not tuberous.

Leaves 3 – 5 x 2 – 3 mm, obovate to elliptic, rhombic, biconvex, swollen towards tips, surface verruculose with white waxy covering, base cuneate to subpetiolate, tip subacute to obtuse.

Inflorescence terminal dichasia with up to 5 pedicellate flowers, peduncle indistinct.

Flowers : Sepals lorate, to 2 mm, obtuse, corolla urceolate, white or cream, lobes to 3 mm, oblong to oblanceolate, fused shortly at the base, tips recurved, anthers yellow.

Cytology : 2n =16, 48

Description (selon E. van Jaarsveld dans IHSP, 2003) :

Plantes rampantes ramifiées. 

Branches de 8 cm, s'enracinant à partir des nœuds, racine principale atteignant 2 mm de diamètre mais non tubéreuse.

Feuilles 3 – 5 x 2 – 3 mm, obovales à elliptiques, losangées, biconvexes, renflées aux extrémités, surface verruqueuse avec couverture pruineuse blanche, base cunée à presque pétiolée, extrémité presque aiguë à obtuse. 

Inflorescence : Dichasia terminaux portant jusqu'à 5 fleurs pédicellées, pédoncule indistinct.

Fleurs : Sépales ligulés atteignant 2 mm, obtus, corolle urcéolée, blanche ou crème, lobes de 3 mm, oblongs à oblancéolés, brièvement soudés à leur base, extrémités recourbées, anthères jaunes. 

Cytologie : 2n = 16, 48
