Distribution : South-Eastern Turkey, 2900 - 3000 m.

 

 

Description (according to IHSP, 2003) :

 

Caudex 5 - 8 mm in diameter, short or several cm long, frequently branched.

 

Rosettes semiglobular, 0.5 - 1.5 cm in diameter, in dense clumps.

 

Leaves oblong-spatulate to oblong-truncate, 3 - 11 x 1.8 - 2 mm, glabrous, glaucous greenish-blue, apically rather succulent, margin entire or slightly papillate.

 

Inflorescences lateral, 1- to 3-flowered, at least upper 1/2 glandular-hairy.

 

Flowers 5-merous, 6 - 7 mm, narrowly funnel-shaped, petals united for 2/3, whitish, carpels slender. - [U. Eggli]
