Distribution : Mexico (Aguascalientes, Jalisco).

Description :

A pruinose plant.

Stem 4 cm tall, 2 cm in diameter.

Rosette 44 - 60 cm in diameter.

Leaves 22 - 27 x 3 - 5 cm, ca 7 mm thick in the middle, lanceolate to ensiform, margins dentate (this is not visible on the photos), hyaline, colour light pink in cultivation to olive green in habitat (the photos do not bear witness to this either), glauous.

Flowering stems 1 - 2, 66 - 80 cm tall, pink or greenish pink, bracts oblanceolate, 6.5 - 10 x 1.5 - 2 cm, smaller in the upper part, slightly dentate (again this cannot be verified), green to pink, glaucous, inflorescence paniculate, 10 - 14 cincinni each with 4 - 7 flowers, pedicels 5 - 7 mm long.

Flowers : Sepals unequal, 6 - 15 x 2.5 - 8 mm, corolla 18 - 24 mm long and up to 13,5 mm wide at the base, colour outside pink to pinkish-yellow ( the photos rather show orange coloured flowers), inside yellow, glaucous, petals acute, keeled, with petal appendages.
