Description :

Stem 5 - 40 (- 135) cm long, upright or pendant in old plants, greyish to green.

Roots fibrous.

Rosettes 15 - 40 cm in diameter, lax, 11 - 23 leaves.

Leaves 4.5 - 25 x 2 - 4 cm, glabrous, oblanceolate, acuminate, mucronate, margin entire, hyaline, underside keeled, colour green to purple.

Inflorescence single, paniculate, 22 - 69 cm tall, with 4 - 11 cincinni, each with up to 12 flowers, bracts 11 - 19, oblanceolate, ascending, 2 - 12 x 0.6 - 1.8 cm, concave above, keeled below, green, pedicels 6.7 - 9 mm long, pruinose, commonly with bracteoles.

Flowers : Sepals unequal, 6 - 10 x 3.7 - 5 mm, lanceolate, spreading to reflexed, green to greyish green, pruinose, corolla urceolate, 17 - 20 mm long, 11 mm wide at the base, gibbose, colour organge pink, petals keeled, with appendages.
