Distribution : Mexico (Coahuila); 1600 m.

 

Description (according to U. Eggli in IHSP, 2003) :

Plants to 10 cm tall, pale green or purplish.

Leaves rhombic-obovate, obtuse with incurved margins, 1.5 - 2.5 x 1 - 2.3 cm.

Inflorescences cymes of 2 - 6 branches, cincinni with 3 - 7 flowers.

Flowers : Sepals obtuse to rounded, corolla yellow.

 

Insufficiently known; material cultivated under this name is often L. obtusum. Recently, plants with pale pinkish flowers have been seen in cultivation which might perhaps belong in the same relationship.
