Description :

 

Plant pendent to decumbent, glabrous and glaucous.

 

Stems single or branched from the base, about 30 cm long, 10 – 15 mm in diameter.

 

Rosette at the tip of the stems, loose to compact, 4 – 7 cm in diameter.

 

Leaves spirally arranged, obovate to oblanceolate, semiterete, apex acute, 2.2 – 4.5 x 0.8 – 1.3 cm, 6 – 8 mm thick, pinkish at base, lavender-grey to bluish green in the middle, tips lighter, glaucous.

 

Inflorescence a cincinnus, 9 – 25 cm long (incl. peduncle); peduncle glaucous green to pinkish; sterile bracts 7 – 8, deciduous, ascending, oblong, subacute, spurred at base, 4 – 10 x 2 – 3 mm, green to pinkish; cincinnus with up to 12 flowers; fertile bracts at first subimbricate, 9 – 13 x 2 – 5 mm, pinkish to greenish; pedicels 3 – 8.3 mm long, pinkish green to creamish-white.

 

Flowers : Sepals united at base for about 2 mm, unequal, oblong to oblanceolate, subacute to acute, 8 – 11.6 x 2 – 4.9 mm, green to whitish yellowish at base and bluish green at apex; corolla subcampanulate, petals outcurved to recurved, 9 x 2.4 mm, apex acute, light green at base, bluish green at apex, with a red spot inside of 4 x 2.4 mm, petal appendages 1 mm long, anthers yellow.

Description :

 

Plante pendante à décombante, glabre et glauque.

 

Tiges solitaires ou ramifiées de la base, d'environ 30 cm de long, 10 – 15 mm de diamètre.

 

Rosette en bout de tige, lâche à compacte, 4 – 7 cm de diamètre.

 

Feuilles arrangées en spirale, obovales à oblancéolées, de section semi-ronde, apex aigu, 2,2 – 4,5 x 0,8 – 1,3 cm, 6 – 8 mm d'épaisseur, rosées à la base, gris lavande à vert bleuté au milieu, extrémités plus claires, glauques.

 

Inflorescence : Un cincinnus, 9 – 25 cm de long (pédoncule inclus) ; pédoncule vert glauque à rosé ; 7 – 8 bractées stériles, caduques, ascendantes, oblongues, presque aiguës, avec éperons à la base, 4 – 10 x 2 – 3 mm, vertes à rosées ; cincinnus portant jusqu'à 12 fleurs ; bractées fertiles d'abord presque imbriquées, 9 – 13 x 2 – 5 mm, rosées à verdâtres ; pédicelles 3 – 8,3 mm de long, vert rosé à blanc crème.

 

 

Fleurs : Sépales soudés en bas sur environ 2 mm, inégaux, oblongs à oblancéolés, presque aigus voire aigus, 8 – 11,6 x 2 – 4,9 mm, verts à blanc jaunâtre à la base et vert bleuté à l'apex ; corolle presque campanulée, pétales tournés vers l'extérieur à recourbés, 9 x 2,4 mm, apex aigu, vert clair à la base, vert bleuté à l'apex, avec tache rouge (4 x 2,4 mm) à l'intérieur, appendice du pétale 1 mm de long, anthères jaunes.
