Distribution : Turkey (C. Anatolia); limestone crevices, very local, 1700 - 2300 m.

 

Description (according to 't Hart, Bleij & Zonneveld in IHSP, 2003) :

Rosettes ± 3 cm in diameter.

Stolons short.

Leaves ovate, acuminate, recurved and spreading, evenly glandular-pubescent, bluish-green, 10 - 20 x ± 7.5 mm.

Flowers 9- to 11- merous, 1 - 1.5 cm in diameter, sepals ovate, short, unusally fleshy, petals greenish-yellow, 5 - 7 mm, filaments violet.

Allied to S. gillianii.
