Distribution : Caucasus; ± 2135 m; known only from the type.

 

Description (according to 't Hart, Bleij & Zonneveld in IHSP, 2003) :

Rosettes to 3 cm in diameter.

Stolons long, brownish-red.

Leaves obovate to ovate, acute, shortly mucronate, narrowed at base, shortly pubescent, bright green, with small red-brown tip, ± 15 x 7.5 mm.

Flowering branches to 11 cm, cauline leaves pale red apically, ± 11 x 3 mm.

Flowers 13-merous, ± 2 cm in diameter, sepals connate for up to 3 mm, reddish, ± 6 mm, petals red, with narrow lighter margin, filaments pale lilac, anthers pinkish-red, styles short, pale orange.
